🔧 Processing Conditions
• Drying Temperature/Time: 80°C
• Suggested Max Moisture: 0.2%
• Material is supplied in airtight bags, ready for use. If moisture absorption occurs, dry with dehumidified air equipment (dew point ≤ -20°C) for 2-4 hours.
Injection Temperatures:
• Rear Zone: 260 – 270°C
• Middle Zone: 265 – 275°C
• Front Zone: 265 – 275°C
Recommended Mold Temperature:
• 60 – 80°C
• Up to 120°C for high surface quality requirements
⚠️ Injection Molding Advice
- Equipment Corrosion Protection — All flame retardant compounds generate some level of abrasion/corrosion to processing equipment. Use steel with high chromium and high carbon content (minimum 16% chromium).
- Process Window Control — Incorrect processing conditions (temperature, residence time, moisture level) can affect part quality and accelerate equipment wear. Strictly follow this technical data sheet.
- Parameter Adjustability — Processing temperatures are recommendations and can be adjusted based on injection machine size, part geometry, and design.
📋 Product Renaming Information
This grade was formerly known as TECHNYL A 50H1 NATURAL. Domo has integrated it into the TECHNYL PROTECT flame retardant product line. The new designation PROTECT A 50H1 NC more clearly reflects the product’s flame retardant characteristics and technology platform. The material formulation and properties remain unchanged — customers can confidently transition to the new name.
