🛡️ TECHNYL PROTECT A 60G1 V30 NC is a polyamide 66 grade reinforced with 30% glass fiber, based on a non-halogenated flame retardant system, heat stabilized, designed for injection molding. This grade offers excellent flame retardancy properties (UL94 V0, 5VA, GWIT) combined with excellent processing, mechanical and electrical performance. It can withstand temperatures of 160°C for over 6000 hours and has a UL F1 rating for weatherability resistance. This grade was formerly known as TECHNYL A 60G1 V30 NATURAL or DOMAMID FR 66G30VOE NC.

Drying Conditions:
• Drying Temperature/Time: 75-85°C / 2-4 hours
• Dew Point Requirement: < -30°C
• Suggested Max Moisture: 0.2%
• Material is supplied in airtight bags, ready for use. If moisture absorption occurs, use dehumidified drying equipment.

Recommended Melt Temperature:
• 265 – 280°C

Injection Temperatures:
• Rear Zone: 265 – 275°C
• Middle Zone: 265 – 275°C
• Front Zone: 270 – 280°C

Recommended Mold Temperature:
• 60 – 90°C
• Up to 120°C for high surface quality requirements

⚠️ Injection Molding Advice

  • Equipment Corrosion Protection — All reinforced flame retardant compounds generate some level of abrasion/corrosion to processing equipment. Use steel with high chromium and high carbon content (minimum 16% chromium).
  • Process Window Control — Incorrect processing conditions (temperature, residence time, moisture level) can affect part quality and accelerate equipment wear. Strictly follow this technical data sheet.
  • Parameter Adjustability — Processing temperatures are recommendations and can be adjusted based on injection machine size, part geometry, and design.
