TECHNYL® STAR AF 218 V35 BK 21N is a 35% glass fiber reinforced polyamide 66 (PA66) grade with very high flowability, heat stabilized, specifically developed for injection molding. Due to its outstanding flow characteristics, this grade shows exceptional processing behavior and excellent surface aspect of the finished part. This grade is ideal for use in the automotive industry for engine components and is also ideal for Muell injection moulding technology.

The material is supplied in airtight bags, ready for use. If the virgin material has absorbed moisture, it must be dried with dehumidified air drying equipment (dew point minimum -20°C). Recommended drying time: 2-4 hours.
For reinforced polyamides, DOMO recommends using steel with high carbon content, purified for polishing, to avoid or limit abrasion. For example: X38CrMoV5-1 (EN Norm) – 1.2367/1.2343 (DIN Norm) or X160CrMoV12 – 1.2601/1.2379 (DIN Norm).
