TECHNYL® PROTECT B 50H1 NC L (previously TECHNYL B 50H1 NATURAL L) is an unreinforced copolyamide 66/6 grade based on a non-phosphorous and non-halogenated flame retardant system, heat stabilized, for injection molding. This flame retardant grade achieves UL94 V0 at 0.4mm ultra-thin wall thickness, offering excellent filling qualities together with good stiffness. This grade is certified to EN 45545 railway standard, suitable for electrical components in railway vehicles.

The material is supplied in airtight bags, ready for use. If the virgin material has absorbed moisture, it must be dried with dehumidified air drying equipment (dew point minimum -20°C). Recommended drying time: 2-4 hours.

All flame retardant compounds generate some level of abrasion/corrosion to steel processing equipment. DOMO recommends using steel with high chromium and high carbon content (minimum 16% chromium) for equipment in contact with molten flame retardant compounds. Strictly follow recommended processing conditions to prevent corrosion and ensure product performance.
