🔄 Excellent Tribological Properties · Ideal for Sliding Components
TECHNYL® SLIDE A 216 V30 TF15 BK is specially modified with TF15 technology to offer excellent tribological properties:
- Low Coefficient of Friction: Excellent surface sliding performance, reduces energy loss in moving parts
- Good Wear Resistance: Extends service life of sliding components
- 30% Glass Fiber Reinforced: Provides high rigidity and high strength for load-bearing components
- High Heat Deflection Temperature: HDT of 250°C at 1.80MPa
⚙️ Processing Conditions
75-85°C / 2-4 hours
Dew point ≤ -30°C
280 – 300°C
80 – 120°C
(Up to 120°C for high surface quality)
⚠️ Injection Advice
The material is supplied in airtight bags, ready for use. If the virgin material has absorbed moisture, it must be dried with dehumidified air drying equipment (dew point minimum -20°C). Recommended drying time: 2-4 hours.
For reinforced polyamides, DOMO recommends the use of steel with high carbon content, purified for polishing, to avoid or limit abrasion. For example: X38CrMoV5-1 (EN Norm) – 1.2367/1.2343 (DIN Norm) or X160CrMoV12 – 1.2601/1.2379 (DIN Norm).
🎯 Target Applications
Drive gears, worm gears
Sliding bearings, roller cages
Slides, sliders, bushings
Cams, ratchets, actuator components
