TECHNYL® A 216 V30 NC is a 30% glass fiber reinforced polyamide 66 (PA66) grade, specifically developed for injection molding. This grade offers an excellent combination of thermal and mechanical properties, featuring high rigidity, high strength, good impact resistance, and high heat deflection temperature. It is an ideal material choice for outdoor applications, white goods/small appliances, and sporting goods.

⚠️ Injection Advice

The material is supplied in airtight bags, ready for use. If the virgin material has absorbed moisture, it must be dried with dehumidified air drying equipment (dew point minimum -20°C). Recommended drying time: 2-4 hours.

For reinforced polyamides, DOMO recommends the use of steel with high carbon content, purified for polishing, to avoid or limit abrasion. For example: X38CrMoV5-1 (EN Norm) – 1.2367/1.2343 (DIN Norm) or X160CrMoV12 – 1.2601/1.2379 (DIN Norm).
