TECHNYL® SAFE A 216FC V25 BK (previously DOMAMID 66G25FC BK) is a 25% glass fiber reinforced polyamide 66 (PA66) grade with food contact certification (EU/FDA), specifically developed for injection molding. Designed for molded parts requiring food contact compliance in industrial consumer goods and appliance applications, this grade offers excellent mechanical and thermal properties.

TECHNYL® SAFE A 216FC V25 BK is EU Food Contact Certified and FDA Certified, suitable for applications requiring direct contact with food:

⚙️ Processing Conditions
75-85°C / 2-4 hours
Dew point ≤ -30°C
270 – 290°C
90 – 110°C
(Up to 120°C for high surface quality)
The material is supplied in airtight bags, ready for use. If the virgin material has absorbed moisture, it must be dried with dehumidified air drying equipment (dew point minimum -20°C). Recommended drying time: 2-4 hours.
For reinforced polyamides, DOMO recommends using steel with high carbon content, purified for polishing, to avoid or limit abrasion. For example: X38CrMoV5-1 (EN Norm) – 1.2367/1.2343 (DIN Norm) or X160CrMoV12 – 1.2601/1.2379 (DIN Norm).
