TECHNYL® SAFE C 216FC V30 BK (previously DOMAMID 6G30FC 300 BK) is a 30% glass fiber reinforced polyamide 6 (PA6) grade with food contact certification, specifically developed for injection molding. Designed for molded parts requiring food contact compliance in industrial consumer goods and appliance applications, this grade offers excellent mechanical properties, thermal properties, and processing flowability.

TECHNYL® SAFE C 216FC V30 BK is Food Contact Certified, suitable for applications requiring direct contact with food:

⚙️ Processing Conditions
75-85°C / 2-4 hours
Dew point ≤ -30°C
250 – 290°C
80 – 100°C
(Up to 120°C for high surface quality)
The material is supplied in airtight bags, ready for use. If the virgin material has absorbed moisture, it must be dried with dehumidified air drying equipment (dew point minimum -20°C). Recommended drying time: 2-4 hours.
For reinforced polyamides, DOMO recommends using steel with high carbon content, purified for polishing, to avoid or limit abrasion. For example: X38CrMoV5-1 (EN Norm) – 1.2367/1.2343 (DIN Norm) or X160CrMoV12 – 1.2601/1.2379 (DIN Norm).
