🧪 Phosphine Emission Test
Red phosphorous flame retardant materials may pose a risk of phosphine (PH₃) emission in long-term humid and hot environments, which could cause corrosion of metal contacts. To ensure long-term reliability in E&E applications, DOMO conducted rigorous emission tests on the TECHNYL PROTECT red phosphorous FR series.
- Environment: 70°C · 4 weeks (672 hours)
- Samples: 2 impact bars (80×10×4 mm) + metal specimen
- Method: Metal specimen placed at bottom of test tube, impact bars above, water added, sealed, and placed in 70°C environment

After accelerated aging at 70°C for 4 weeks, no visible phosphine emission was observed on the metal specimens for both materials. Each product was tested twice to verify reliability. This confirms the long-term stability of the TECHNYL PROTECT red phosphorous FR series in humid and hot environments, making it safe for E&E components sensitive to metal contact corrosion.

🏭 Typical Applications
A 20 V25 NC is widely used in power connectors and terminal blocks, leveraging UL94 V0 rating and good mechanical properties for electrical safety.
AT 20 V25 BK, with CTI 600V (PLC 0) and 5VA rating, is ideal for circuit breaker and relay housings.
Both materials are suitable for internal insulation components in coffee machines, vacuum cleaners, and other small appliances.
