TECHNYL® PROTECT A 20 V25 NC (previously TECHNYL A 20 V25 NATURAL) is a red phosphorus flame retardant polyamide 66 (PA66) grade, reinforced with 25% glass fiber, heat stabilized, for injection molding. This grade provides robust UL94 V0 rating and a full UL yellow card while offering good mechanical properties. Suitable for molding insulating parts for electrical devices, and more generally for thin parts under stress.

The material is supplied in airtight bags, ready for use. If the virgin material has absorbed moisture, it must be dried with dehumidified air drying equipment (dew point minimum -20°C). Recommended drying time: 2-4 hours.

All reinforced, flame retardant compounds generate some level of abrasion/corrosion to steel processing equipment. DOMO recommends using steel with high chromium and high carbon content (minimum 16% chromium) to prevent corrosion and abrasion. Strictly follow recommended processing conditions.
