TECHNYL® C 216 V40 BK (previously DOMAMID 6LVG40 300 BK) is a 40% glass fiber reinforced polyamide 6 (PA6) grade with improved flowability, specifically developed for injection molding. This grade offers high rigidity and high strength while providing excellent processability, making it an ideal material choice for industrial components, consumer goods, and electrical applications.

The material is supplied in airtight bags, ready for use. If the virgin material has absorbed moisture, it must be dried with dehumidified air drying equipment (dew point minimum -20°C). Recommended drying time: 2-4 hours.

For reinforced polyamides, DOMO recommends using steel with high carbon content, purified for polishing, to avoid or limit abrasion. For example: X38CrMoV5-1 (EN Norm) – 1.2367/1.2343 (DIN Norm) or X160CrMoV12 – 1.2601/1.2379 (DIN Norm).
