TECHNYL® A 218 V50 NC is a 50% ultra-high glass fiber reinforced Polyamide 66 (PA66) grade with heat-aging stabilization, designed for injection molding. This grade offers extremely high rigidity, strength and heat resistance, with tensile modulus up to 16200 MPa and flexural strength of 350 MPa. The natural color version is suitable for automotive components, pulleys, power tools, garden equipment and other ultra-high strength structural applications.

The material is supplied in airtight bags, ready for use. If the virgin material has absorbed moisture, it must be dried with dehumidified air drying equipment, dew point minimum -20°C, recommended time 2-4 hours.
For reinforced polyamides, DOMO recommends the use of steel with a high content of carbon, and purified for polishing, to avoid or limit abrasion. For example: X38CrMoV5-1 (EN Norm) – 1.2367/1.2343 (DIN Norm) or X160CrMoV12 (EN Norm) – 1.2601/1.2379 (DIN Norm).
