Rotational Molding: Ideal for Complex Hollow Parts
Rotational molding is a plastics manufacturing process that enables production of complex hollow parts that would be virtually impossible to manufacture using other processes such as injection molding, thermoforming or blow molding. This process produces durable parts with high-quality finishes, uniform wall thicknesses, and high stability, while being economically viable for small-scale production and environmentally friendly as materials can be easily recycled and re-used.
Rotational molding also allows designers to seamlessly integrate curves and transitions, adding ribs and kiss-offs to enhance strength and rigidity while maintaining excellent aesthetics.

Pre-Colored Powders: Eliminating Dispersion & Contamination Issues
A major challenge in rotomolding with colored materials is pigment dispersion and contamination during masterbatch dosing. DOMO developed the pre-colored black solution DOMAMID® PW 6H1 BK, enabling clean dosing while ensuring uniform color consistency.
These solutions can also serve as a base for masterbatch production, offering customers greater flexibility.
