TECHNYL® 4EARTH A1E 218 V50 BK H (formerly TECHNYL 4EARTH A4E 218 V50 BLACK) belongs to DOMO’s 4EARTH sustainable polyamide series. It is a 50% ultra-high glass fiber reinforced recycled Polyamide 66 (PA66) grade with heat-aging stabilization, designed for injection molding. This product offers extremely high rigidity and strength with tensile modulus up to 16600 MPa, while using recycled materials to help reduce carbon footprint. The black version is suitable for automotive components, metal replacement and ultra-high strength sustainable design applications.

The material is supplied in airtight bags, ready for use. If the virgin material has absorbed moisture, it must be dried with dehumidified air drying equipment, dew point minimum -20°C, recommended time 2-4 hours.

For reinforced polyamides, DOMO recommends the use of steel with a high content of carbon, and purified for polishing, to avoid or limit abrasion. For example: X38CrMoV5-1 (EN Norm) – 1.2367/1.2343 (DIN Norm) or X160CrMoV12 (EN Norm) – 1.2601/1.2379 (DIN Norm).
